COVID-19 Mask Policy Update (June 2021)

UPDATE: June 17, 2021

In accordance with recent guidelines released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Wright Museum is updating its COVID-19 policies.

Effective as of Friday, June 11, 2021, wearing a face mask while visiting the museum is now optional for fully-vaccinated visitors. This policy also applies to our fully-vaccinated volunteers and staff. The museum continues to maintain a supply of disposable masks for those who request them. Fully-vaccinated visitors who would prefer to continue wearing a mask are encouraged to feel comfortable doing so.

Hand sanitizing stations will remain available near high traffic areas such as the main entrance, bathrooms, and interactive exhibits. The museum requests all visitors to be respectful of others and continue maintaining a degree of social distancing.

For the immediate future, masks will still be required for all attendees of our Tuesday evening lecture series events. Changes to that policy will be posted as they become available.

The Wright Museum appreciates the efforts of our visitors, volunteers and staff which have allowed us to create a safe and enjoyable experience throughout this difficult time. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant as efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 continue. And, as always, we thank you for your support!
