Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) has pledged $750 to support the Wright Museum’s Remembrance Garden, a garden that will enhance the area near the Museum wall in which memorial bricks have been placed. As a result of this donation, visitors can view the memorial bricks in beautifully landscaped garden surroundings with granite benches and flags.
“We are grateful to Meredith Village Savings Bank for their donation for plantings to enhance this landscaped area,” said Michael Culver, executive director of the Wright Museum. “The Remembrance Garden will be a wonderful addition to the Wright Museum. We know our visitors and the community will appreciate it while we honor those enshrined on the bricks.”
Robyn Masteller, regional vice president and branch manager at MVSB in Wolfeboro, said they are “honored to stand behind the Wright Museum and Remembrance Garden.”
“It’s a special place and pays tribute to an incredible time in our history,” she said. “Though located in our backyard, the museum attracts visitors from all over the state and country. We’re thrilled to support the Wright Museum in any way we can.”
The Remembrance Garden will be complete sometime before the end of July.
