In honor of International Credit Union Day (10/15), members from any credit union in New Hampshire (plus one guest) can enjoy free admission to the Wright Museum in Wolfeboro on September 19 and October 17.
Free admission is made possible through a partnership with Service Credit Union, which has supported the museum for years.
“We wanted to honor the spirit of what makes credit unions so unique and create this opportunity for all credit union members in the state,” said Mike Culver, executive director of The Wright. “Credit unions work together in a spirit of cooperation, so we want to demonstrate that same working principle.”
The region’s leading resource for educators and learners of all ages on World War II, The Wright features more than 14,000 items in its collection that are representative of both the home front and battle field.
“This is a place for all ages, all backgrounds and all interests,” added Culver. “Wolfeboro is beautiful this time of year, and we are within walking distance to the Wolfeboro Rail Trail. You can make a day of it with terrific dining options, too.”
The Wright is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and on Sunday from noon to 4 pm. September 19 and October 17 are both Saturdays.
