Fall has traditionally been a time for the Wright Museum in Wolfeboro to give back to the local communities that help support it, which makes its annual Toys for Tots Drive so special to staff.
“It is so important for us to find as many ways to give back and contribute to the communities that are so generous to us,” said Mike Culver, executive director. “We are always proud to serve as a collection point for this program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.”
From October 1 through October 31, each person who brings a new unwrapped toy will receive half price admission at the Wright Museum. The Toys for Tots Drive at Wright follows is canned food drive in September, which benefited Life Ministries Food Pantry in Wolfeboro.
The Wright Museum of WWII is located at 77 Center Street in Wolfeboro. Toys may be dropped off at the Wright Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
“Bring a new unwrapped toy or toys and make this holiday season special for children who might not otherwise expect to receive something for the holidays,” said Culver.
