Dear Friends of the Wright Museum,
To say that we are in “uncertain times” is an understatement. Although at present, the interior renovations of the Museum are scheduled to be completed before our traditional opening date of May 1, the Museum will not open on that date. We are currently unable to predict when exactly we will open to the public for the 2020 season due to COVID-19. Needless to say we will keep everyone informed of this fluid situation.
Due to the ongoing situation, we have decided to postpone our first special exhibit of 2020. Shaped by Conflict: Mementoes of the WWII Era will be rescheduled for display during our 2021 season. The remaining two exhibits, Vietnam: The Real War and Memories of WWII are currently still scheduled. Any additional changes required to our 2020 schedule and the 2021 dates for Shaped by Conflict will be announced on our website and social media pages as soon as that information becomes available.
We have also cancelled our May Tuesday evening Education Programs. At present, we are not deleting the June programs, but that may be necessary also. Please view our web site for updates on everything. We are also providing interesting historical information on our social media platforms – Facebook and Instagram – check those out too!
The entire Wright staff and Board of Directors send best wishes for good health to you and your families. We WILL see you soon.
